About Dr. Alysha Vartevan

Dr. Alysha Vartevan, DO is a double board certified physician specializing in neuroradiology. She is the owner and founder of Camelback Radiology and is licensed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, New York, Nevada, Utah, Missouri and Texas.

The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the landscape of healthcare.  In an effort to improve access to care and adapt to a changing environment, Dr. Vartevan started Camelback Radiology.  Her teleradiology company has continued to grow each year and now has a team of specialized radiologists that work with multiple imaging centers, medical groups, physicians and colleagues to provide accurate, timely radiological services.

Dr. Vartevan travels around the country lecturing about traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological pathologies.  She remains current on innovative trends in the field and has a passion for teaching and lecturing in various forums; including national society meetings, universities, and regional conferences.

What is a 3T MRI?

A 3T MRI refers to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine with a magnetic field strength of 3 Tesla (3T). The Tesla unit is used to measure the strength of the magnetic field generated by an MRI machine. higher magnetic field strength, such as 3T, generally offers improved image quality and allows for more detailed and clearer images to be produced.

 

It is commonly used for various diagnostic purposes, including brain and spinal cord conditions, orthopedic injuries, and acute injury cases.
